John brings nearly 30 years of experience in the heavy-duty industry and a distinguished record of driving transformational growth. His leadership has helped turn emerging business initiatives into major national operations, expand purchasing revenue exponentially, and build extensive industry networks. He has also successfully launched and sold an OEM dealer network and developed a nationwide organization recognized for training, consulting, and strategic program development.

Michael Carnahan

PRESIDENT / Co-Chairman

Michael brings more than 25 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, high-performance vehicle development, technician education, and business leadership. Beginning his career as a trained automotive technician, he went on to found and operate a high-performance race shop and computer calibration company, building extensive expertise in diagnostics, performance tuning, and advanced vehicle systems. As Co-Founder of Heavy Duty AI, Mike applies decades of real-world industry experience to help develop practical AI solutions that improve diagnostics, technician workflows, and service efficiency across the heavy-duty industry.

James Smith

Chief Technology Officer

James is a technology innovator with more than 28 years of experience in software, AI-driven solutions, cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and digital transformation. His background includes leadership roles in infrastructure strategy, cloud architecture, and technology development, along with founding multiple SaaS platform serving users worldwide. James combines deep technical expertise with a focus on building scalable, practical solutions.

Todd brings more than 35 years of experience in sales, business development, and strategic leadership across the telecommunications, information technology, software, and heavy-duty industries. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, he has led regional, national, and international growth initiatives, built strategic partnerships, and helped organizations expand into new markets. His expertise in revenue growth, customer relationships, and business strategy plays a key role in accelerating GlobalTechIQ's market presence and long-term growth.
